Register365.com (beta)
We’ve (rather quietly) pushed our beta of Register365.com online - please feel free to mail us any feedback. We are working on it continuously, but it does demo our all-new management back-end systems, as well as 24/7 livechat features and all new pricing and hosting plans.
The site is now open for business and working fully…

Hi Patrick, sorry if I sound silly - but what search?
Feedback: In the whois section it reads ‘doman name’ instead of ‘domain name’ http://www.register365.com/whois
Also, commenting time seems to be off by an hour on here, I’m posting this at 15:11 Ireland time
Thanks Elly!
Is there a facility to transfer a domain from another registrar to register365?
I have a hosting plan on hosting365, but that login doesn’t work on register365 which only seems to cater for new domains. I’m not ready to buy web/email hosting for other domains yet, all I want for the moment is to use register365 as the domain host, am I completely missing something?
Hi Tom,
Of course you can transfer domains to us … http://www.register365.com/domains/transfer … if it’s a .com or other TLD you’ll need to get an EPP key from your existing registrar.
Existing hosting plan logins will be imported to the new system soon when we have functionality do to so. For now though if you have domains with us you should be able to see them in cp.register365.com.
I’ve lodged this as a ticket with our support team as well so you should get more info from them.
Thanks!
Thanks Ed,
Got the support mail already, we’re in business.
The upgrade is good news too, I know from experience single sign-on ain’t as cheap an’ easy as some users think.
Nicely done,
Tom
Single-Sign-On is the holy grail for us Tom !!
Hi Ed,
About these new hosting plans. Live chat just told me to avail of them I have to close my existing account, Fax you a letter asking you close it and then open another new account and transfer all my websites over to it.
Is this right ??
I’m with Robert … It’s great to release new options for new customers, but what about those who’ve been around for a while now? Fees seem much cheaper on the new reg365 hosting, but to avail of it I have to close my existing account, open new one (with same company from my POV), and transfer web site … would an interim “solution” be to at least offer the new rate for the older hosting365 users on renewals?
Perhaps (probably!) I don’t fully appreciate the finer details, but that’s how it looks to me …
???
Colm.
PS I have a ticket logged.
The billing info part of the contacts form is set up to require a zip code which is preventing me correcting my address.
Existing customers can now be moved to the new features and pricing, altho the billing integration is not yet complete. Simply submit a ticket to support to have the change made.
We will be automatically moving customers over the next few months, as renewals, etc, arrive.
Correct me if I’m wrong but isnt your H-Sphere login details supposed to work on connect365.ie, your support ticket system. Since myself ( and 2 of my new clients) have signed up to these new plans we cant login to submit new tickets.
Your Live Chat said this was a bug and to email you through a link they sent me, I emailed you only to be advised 3 times that my H-shpere login is fine ?? you even sent me my password details. The ticket was for connect365 not my Hosting panel login. My client emailed you and was told that his login and password are just his email address and to use that.
This post is not meant as a snipe/criticism, I recommend all my clients to you for hosting and will continue to do so but I think you need to look at your ticket support as getting 3 different stories is not what I expect when looking for a resolution to my problem ( thats still unresolved )
Just to add a big thanks to Aidan for seamlessly migrating my own hosting plan to the new system and best of luck with the new website
Thanks for the feedback Robert, we have had issues keeping the ticket system in sync with the other databases and are reviewing our options at the moment. you can of course log issues via the website, livechat or email also.
Hi Stephen,
The new system does not have a bulk registration solution or an option to press a renew button beside your due for renewal domains when logged into your account.
This makes the process of registering new domains and renewing existing domains a very long winded process because you have to go through the whole purchase process for each and every one.
The current system is ok if you only have a hand full of domains but is now a seriously time consuming process for anyone with large amount’s of domains.
Mark
Hey Mark,
1.5 went well, we now have full Bulk Register functions, as well as smoother functions for checking out with multiple services / products.
